Nutrition tips
Although I am really big into working out, I am constantly trying to educated myself on the nutrition to go along with it. I know somethings for example, I know what I shouldn't and should be eating, I know my BMR things of that nature. But I really would like to get the most out of my workouts, and I know that your diet affects most of that. I have gone to www.mypyramid.gov to try and keep track because I don't think I eat enough for the amount nor the intensity that I workout, but I was just wondering other peoples hints or tips that they do.

quick question/thought
Since most of the people checking this blog are PE teachers, what way do you find your students retain and learn the information the best? Visual? Hands on? I'm interested in seeing if it is wide spread and different for ages, genders etc.

Bike intervals...
I'm looking for anyone that has any ideas for bike workouts/intervals. I know some of you try to integrate different aspects of cardio or physical activity. within a classroom setting, but I was hoping to find a new idea maybe with your kids that I can make changes on for my players or workouts you might do yourself.

Showing life lessons through sport....
Do you think that kids learn life lessons through sport? If so, what types of life lessons do you think they learn? I have heard many past employers tell me that the fact I have played on athletic teams made it that much more of a bonus to hire me because of my knowledge of roles, work ethic as well as team unity.

Traditional vs. Functional training
I am interested what ya'll think is more beneficial training wise. I know every body has different goals that they are trying to achieve but 1. I LOVE hearing/finding out new workouts or new ideas for the change of monotony in workouts. 2. I love seeing how people meet their goals. Some people are big into heavy weights and traditional training, while others use light weights and more functional lifting for everyday situations. So, there's my thought and just wondering where ya'll are at as well.
Motivation......what's ushing you?
You either workout religiously, workout every now and then, or never set foot in a gym. What do you think motivates people to want to workout?
